Tour of the fort
The SMEDEREVO Fortress, as the administrative, military, economic, cultural and ecclesiastical seat of the Serbian despotate, was erected by Despot Đurađ Branković, nephew of Despot Stefan Lazarević. It was built in the period 1428-1439
